Chris was born in Botswana and grew up next to the Chobe River in Kasane. He attended school in South Africa, but on graduation returned to Botswana, where he pursued his love of the wilderness. He has had 21 years of guiding experience, in Botswana and neighbouring countries. The combination of Chris’s knowledge of safari life and the region’s natural flora and fauna, together and his good humour and his genuine affection for people, create a trip with the perfect balance of excitement and relaxation.

Angie has lived in Botswana for most of her life: she arrived with her parents when she was only eight years old. Angie and Chris were close friends while growing up in Kasane and, although they went their separate ways for education, they met up again in Kasane, and fell in love. They have two beautiful children and now live in Maun. Angie has a local’s knowledge of Botswana, and loves safari life, especially entertaining visitors. Her eye for detail, and her expert knowledge of catering and hospitality, add comfort and warm care to every safari experience.

We call Chris the Botswana Animal Whisperer. It was unbelievable to watch him in the bush, especially how he connected to the surroundings, listened to every sound and observed every detail. He took us on a journey not only to see the animals, but enabled us to be part of the whole process of locating the animals. This is what made it all so real and genuine.
